Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Gazenest is committed to making its website and extension accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Conformance Status
Gazenest targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines). These guidelines make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks (
<nav>,<main>,<footer>) - ARIA labels on all interactive controls (buttons, toggles, form fields)
- Correct heading hierarchy with no skipped levels
- Keyboard-navigable navigation, forms, and interactive elements
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios for all text and UI components
- No content that relies solely on colour to convey meaning
- Automated WCAG 2.1 AA testing via axe-core on all public pages
Known Limitations
- PDF exports are not currently screen-reader optimised
- The browser extension popup follows browser-native accessibility standards rather than web WCAG

Assessment Approach
This statement reflects testing via automated scanning (axe-core), keyboard navigation testing (Playwright E2E), and semantic HTML validation.
