Refund Policy

All payments for Gazenest are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, invoicing, and refund processing on our behalf, and may also issue refunds at its own discretion in accordance with its Buyer Terms.

Gazenest does not offer a free trial. All plans are paid from the first charge.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal (EU/EEA customers)

If you are based in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your initial subscription purchase within 14 days of the purchase date, without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU. This right applies to your initial purchase only, not to subsequent renewals.

To exercise this right, contact us within 14 days of your purchase date via the contact form. Please include your order ID (found in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email). Refunds are issued in the original payment currency and include any applicable VAT or sales tax.

Goodwill Refund Windows

Outside of statutory rights, we offer the following goodwill refund windows:

Monthly subscription (initial charge) 14 days from purchase date
Monthly subscription (renewal) 14 days from renewal date
Annual subscription (initial charge) 30 days from purchase date
Annual subscription (renewal) 14 days from renewal date

We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time within a billing period.

For Family plans, refund requests must be submitted by the account holder who made the original purchase.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • From your Gazenest dashboard under Account > Subscription
  • From your Lemon Squeezy customer portal at app.lemonsqueezy.com

Cancellation stops future charges. Access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Renewal Notifications

We send a reminder email before each renewal:

  • Annual plans: at least 30 days before renewal
  • Monthly plans: at least 3 days before renewal

You may cancel at any time before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact us via the contact form with your order ID and reason for your request
  2. We will review and respond within 5 business days
  3. Approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method (settlement typically takes 3-10 business days depending on your payment method)

Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most disputes can be resolved within 5 business days. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension.

Non-Refundable Situations

  • Refund requests submitted after the applicable window above
  • Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This policy is governed by French law. If you are an EU consumer and we cannot resolve your complaint, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
